{sneak peak} Going Gaga Over – Bugaboo Donkey

Wednesday, September 15th, 2010

Due to hit the market in 2011 the latest bugaboo – The Bugaboo Donkey is the first stroller on the market to be fully convertible to offer parents three possible configurations: mono, duo and twin. It offers the possibility of transforming a mono stroller to a duo configuration with the same comfort for all children. It is also the first stroller to be designed specifically to meet parents’ needs for flexible and multiple storage space, courtesy of an expandable side shopping basket and underseat basket.

All Bugaboo strollers are named after animals like the Bugaboo Bee and Bugaboo Cameleon. The characteristics of a donkey perfectly reflect Bugaboo’s new stroller as it’s well known for its ability to carry both luggage and people with ease. They are also known for being faithful, intelligent and eager to learn.
The Bugaboo Donkey will be available in spring 2011 in the Netherlands, the UK, USA and Spain. As yet there in no word as to when the Bugaboo Donkey will be available in Australia, but we will keep you posted.

The Bugaboo Donkey is the first stroller on the market to be fully convertible to offer parents three possible configurations: mono, duo and twin. In mono configuration the Bugaboo Donkey is 60 cm wide, which is the same width as the Bugaboo Cameleon. In duo configuration the Bugaboo Donkey is only 74 cm, which is the narrowest side by side duo stroller.

Going Gaga Over – Cheeky Little Soles

Thursday, August 5th, 2010

Lisa Koba, Creative Director of Cheeky Little Soles has given Mini Gaga a sneak peak of her upcoming 2010/11 spring/summer collection, and you’ll find some patterns in her designs that are a first for Cheeky Little Soles, Lisa will be launching the collection at REED gift fare in Melbourne nest week.

When it comes to your precious baby, nothing but the very best will do.  And this rings true to their feet when selecting the footwear to put on your pre walking or first walking baby. The feet are a very complex part of our body. Did you know that babies feet are made up of 26 bones, 107 ligaments and19 muscles?!

Over the last decade pediatricians and parents have learned that hard soles and split hard shoes are not suitable for babies as they learn to walk. Babies feet are soft and pliable, and pressure from the wrong type of footwear may delay and hinder their development.  Pediatricians recommend that bare foot is best for tiny feet to grow and strengthen naturally, but as parents we know it is not always practical.  So…. soft soles are the next best thing!  Soft soles are extremely flexible and protective, they have wiggle room to allow freedom of movement to grow, grip and develop foot strength naturally.

Going Gaga Over – Mini Squids

Monday, August 2nd, 2010

Squids just got a whole lot smaller!! The original Squids catered for children aged 3-10. This summer Mini Squids are making a splash for 0-3 year olds. Mini Squids are just like their big brother, their light weight flexible frame stays firmly wrapped around small faces to keep little ‘peepers’ well protected. Featuring EVA foam inserts, Squids float in water, so there’ll be no fishing around for these Squids and the Mini Squids feature a head strap to help keep them on. You’ll finds Mini Squids in stores in time for summer.
