Graphic designer Tara Hogan is the creator of Ink & Wit, an American boutique design house printing all of their own designs on letterpress or offset printing on 100% cotton and 100% post consumer recycled paper using soy and water based inks.
Ink & Wit’s designs have gone beyond paper to fabric, clothing and these gorgeous stamp sets that allow you to create a collage or something as small as a gift tag. Available in three designs, Outback Safari Friends, Arctic Friends and Paris Friends.
While the Sikker is still in the concept stages, designers Jessica Mendoza & Henoc Monte have embraced current technology to take baby monitors to a whole new level, an intercommunication between parent and child. The blue tooth supported docking station is sleek and acts as a home base for the bracelets, while not in use. The baby bracelet has a speaker, a mic and a temperature gauge, the parent unit has a speaker, mic, temperature line that is fed from the baby bracelet and a touch screen that tells the time, set alarm, monitors baby heart beat data and sends mp3 lullabies to the baby unit. There seems to be no word on if the Sikker will become a reality, but I for one hope it does.
