When Nikki Perisi was pregnant with her 3rd child, Holden. She set about decorating for unborn son. I love the greys with white trim and the grey brindle cow hide rug. Designer pieces of nursery furniture from oeuf & the eames rocker and elephant compliment each other beautifully. Holden will be able to enjoy this space with minimal changes for his entire childhood. Want to get this look?

Little did Megan know when she designed her unborn daughters nursery that turquoise would become pantone’s colour of the for 2010. Being a graphic designer from Massachusetts, Megan had a 3D canvas to work with instead of her regular 2 dimensions in stationery design. I love the turquoise walls with white trim and sunny yellow accents with the addition the natural fibres of timber floor, seagrass, timber and woven grass baskets. Megan has managed to create a space that soothes, but is also bright and fun. A place I don’t think that I could get enough of. Thank you Megan for sharing your nursery with Mini Gaga.

Since the beginning of my blogging adventures (mini gaga was not my first blog), I “met” Belinda from her previous blog, renovate and decorate. Belinda now has a blog called The Happy Home Blog. I have been following the life of Belinda Graham ever since her Zak was a 1 year old. Belinda is a freelance writer and author of The Happy Home Blog. Belinda shares her renovations, decorating and styling stories along with snippets of her life as a wife and mother to two gorgeous babies, Zak & Layla (who i would recognize if i passed in the street although we’ve never met).
Zak & Layla have a new space to create masterpieces, you can read all about the creative corner here and see her DIY craft table here. All images by Belinda Graham from The Happy Home Blog. Thanks foe sharing Belinda.

Create your own newborn display board using scrapbooking supplies, photos and keepsakes from birth like hospital tags and first nappy pins. Lauriann from Little Starling Photography is the US, was kind enough to allow us to not only share her nursery with you, but also the newborn display boards she made for her own children and family members.

Tomorrow my dearest friends' youngest daughter, D turns 4, and they are celebrating with a fairy party in our local gardens, I've been around at there house for the afternoon making carmel popcorn in cupcakes wrappers (thanks sarah) and pink chocolate dipped pretzels and shortbread heart shaped biscuits. D is smack bang in the middle of my two boys as far as age goes, and they both play equally well with her, My eldest attends kinder with her on a Tuesday and my youngest and I usually hang with her and her mum on a friday, while the older kids are at school and kinder. My little J often declares his undying love for her, and only her. So Happy 4th Birthday D. A special mention goes out to Leonie from Twiggi for saving the day with overnight delivery of the very pink party ware.
These fairy doors are a magical addition to any little girls life. In the walls of family homes, in tree trunks and under ferns in the garden, Fairies come and go through these magical doors. As fairies are magical creatures, these doors can only be opened by fairies. You may be able to see when a fairy starts using your door as they often leave some fairy dust behind.

US photographer Lauriann Wakefield designed and decorated this nursery for her adopted son Jack. Deciding on a calm and soothing backdrop of light turquoise and soft latte brown, Lauriann's love for vintage style comes thru in her furniture that fills the space with white, adding to the white architraves, skirtings and the door are pained white. Splashes of colour are added thru display toys, bedding and a gorgeous jungle mobile that I am sure Jack spent hours looking up at during his first year of life.
Later in the week I'll post an inspiration board based on Lauriann's nursery so you can recreate this look at home for your nursery.
